The model to start with
Vibram ranks its shoes by level of ground perception. Max Feel transmits everything and holds nothing back. Medium Ground Feel keeps the essentials and filters out the rough stuff. The KSO EVO is set on this second level, which explains why it holds up across so many different activities: functional fitness, plyometrics, primal movement, strength training, weightlifting, circuit training. You feel the ground, the arch gets back to work, but you don't finish the session with a burning sole. For a first pair of five-toe shoes, it's the most sensible choice.
