The wing: the part you don't see but that decides the outing
On a trail, what makes you quit is almost never fatigue. It's the gravel that lodged under your toes at kilometer three and that you have to shake out every ten minutes. The Trailope's wing-shaped guard wraps around the entry zone and blocks debris before it reaches the compartments. It also improves forefoot hold along the way, which matters on descents. Underneath, the 3D Cocoon system built into the 5.7 mm sole disperses the impact of sharp stones instead of concentrating it, and Megagrip holds on both dry and wet ground.

This is my fifth pair of five-finger shoes. They're really comfortable. I've already worn them on mountain hikes and I have to say they performed really well.
Bought to replace my old orange Bikila EVOs. Very satisfied, the fit matches my usual size and the support is great. Nice color too, I just wish there were a few more choices.
