The Breezandal Women's is the trail model for hot days. It reprises the Trailope's 5.7 mm Megagrip sole and 3D Cocoon mesh, but in an upper designed to let air circulate. It's the model to pick from toe shoes when heat becomes the limiting factor.

Ventilate from the top, protect from the bottom
Opening up an upper for ventilation normally costs you protection. The Breezandal gets around the problem by moving protection into the sole. The 3D Cocoon mesh disperses the impact of stones and debris underfoot, freeing the upper from that job and letting it be genuinely breathable. The result is a model that holds up for trail hiking and light walking in hot weather, including near rivers and lakes, with quick drying when the terrain gets wet. Megagrip provides grip in both cases.

This is my fifth pair of five-finger shoes. They're really comfortable. I've already worn them on mountain hikes and I have to say they performed really well.
