What hemp changes underfoot
Hemp doesn't behave like a synthetic mesh. It starts out denser, relaxes slightly after a few wears, then settles onto the shape of the foot. Which size to choose
The KSO ECO fits snugly, like all FiveFingers models. Measure your foot from heel to the tip of the big toe with your foot flat on the ground, and check it against our size guide. If you're between two sizes, go up: a compressed toe cancels out the whole benefit of the five-toe construction. The model is available in 5 sizes, 37 to 41, in men's barefoot shoes.

Hemp absorbs water and then dries quickly, but this isn't a waterproof model. For wet terrain, look at a model with drainage.
Can it be washed?
Hand wash in lukewarm water, air dry, never a tumble dryer or radiator. Direct heat warps the sole.
